Gay Cruiesing Spots In Nc

Review: Carriers.

By Fran

Year: 2009
DIRECTOR: Pastor Alex and David Pastor
PERFORMERS: Chris Pine, Christopher Meloni, Emily VanCamp, Kiernan Shipka, Lou Taylor Pucci and Piper Perabo Sometimes

impressions about a product that you mislead and a film by its plot might think that you will not like at all, it actually be a very good speaker in a certain subject, Carriers is an example, in my case, this situation is palpable before giving a chance had the impression that I was going to run into a Bodra opportunist who only wanted to exploit fear of persons, greatly strengthened lately by a deadly pandemic H1N1, but in the end the intentions were the other way, and it turns out that carriers is actually a pretty good job, a human drama, with some tints of terror that reaches to be highly recommended.

The plot is about four survivors of a deadly epidemic that kills within days to people, and all they have to go in a very hostile world where survivors struggle to survive as if they were real animals, and each person is a threat to others.

English directors Alex and David Pastor did a very good job of adapting this story on the big screen, without much visual artifice, where and sets the camera techniques are used only to service history, one inadvertently failed to show much bombast.

The music is pretty accurate, though in truth goes a bit unnoticed, well, on the other hand I think what you want with this film is to stop all these technicalities a bit in the background, to concentrate all film on the strength and intensity of history that does not is anything wrong but here is one of the problems (personal and based purely egocentric) of the film, is that I have to admit that he likes me "packages" I mean? I've always had a soft spot and paid special attention to all that kind of extras that make the film more interesting technically and aesthetically (describe as photography, beautiful drawings, music, aesthetics, etc ...)

The atmosphere is very well made achieving transmit all this bleak environment where is the land, Which reminds me of another genre of horror, in short carriers could be described as a movie with the typical context of a zombie movie ... but no zombies!

It's nice to see characters who although they can be a little cliché in his nature, and decisions made not in fact are all wizened, very real and noticeable in certain decisions we can identify with them, even with the most bastard, thinking, "I could do that? The trouble is that the answer to that question, I really doubt hiso my moral integrity XD.

Of course, one of the weakest points of the film is mounting, often gives the impression that we are seeing separate episodes whose only link is their characters and has no real consequences to future situations that we took off and grabbing back to hooked over and over again with the film.

In conclusion, Carriers is a better movie than you might assume with serious errors in its rhythm, and sometimes it gets a little simplistic, but worth seeing for its great handling of the intention and for being a great study of human behavior in extreme situations.

best:
"The intention, the characters and how to carry out a good drama.

Worst:
-A montage a bit unbalanced and disjointed.

Colorado Temporary Licence Plate

Review: Flick

By Fran

YEAR: 2008
DIRECTOR: David Howard.
PERFORMERS: Faye Dunaway, Hugh O'Conor, Liz Smith, Michelle Ryan.

is a very satisfying when you know nothing about a certain movie and after viewing discover that it is actually a pleasant surprise, even more so when the film is a shoestring budget but manages to make us forget its few means we are seeing something quite cut as money is concerned.

The same was the feeling that left me "FLICK", a film made in the United Kingdom in 2008 that little recognition is not worth having, even for film fans to dump what horror films and zombies.

Without hesitation rather pay a movie ticket to see this rarity that many of the crap, the genre or not, that place regularly in the movies, unfortunately not all people think that way and melted by see upcoming shows mindless people like Michael Bay, Stephen Sommer and Roland Emmerich, while other productions much more humble and intelligent, rot into oblivion, a pity.

Flick tells the story of a young man in the fifties, rockabilly fan who died in an accident, years later the boy returns as a zombie to avenge the cause of his death, and incidentally win his true love.

If something can be attributed to Flick is to be original in its premise and aesthetics is impressive, the scenery is the great success of the film with very inventive drawings and decorated, the color palette is grayish gives a retro touch that looks great with the general context, in short, the scenery of the film is very good and a style rarely seen.

Music is one of the highlights of the film full of rockabilly pieces that make very entertaining viewing and more bearable, and is one of the strengths and most important that our zombie plot and "live (and kill ) for music. "

But all is not rosy, the plot sin of being too simple and linear causing us to lose interest in various parts of the film, even when we notice that beyond the mere facts no interesting background or second reading , the characters are too "dimensional" and apart from the zombie costs that we have affection for some of them.

As another point in the proceedings have generally very poor and not very credible and totally failed many jokes that instead of causing grace dislocations of what we're seeing and get us out of the film.

In conclusion Flick is a film definitely worth seeing, if only for its style, its scenery and its music, but is far from a perfect proposal, taking bajonazos alarming rate and actions that cause others pain , that if perfect for a good time, even more so for those who are attracted cincuentero style and rockabilly.

best:
-cincuentera Aesthetics, costumes, dance ...
"Some features of style achieved.
-rockabilly * 2!

Worst:
-Actions.
"The story may err in being too simple.

Hookup Spots In Pittsburgh

Review: Grotesque

By Francisco Acuña

YEAR: 2009
Director: Koji Shiraishi
PERFORMERS: Hiroaki Kawatsure, Osaka and Tsugumi Nagasawa Shigeo

for horror films there is a range of genres huge, and every genre and subgenre have their market and fans. There are people who admire from commercial production and digestible, even the most bizarre and cumbersome or confusing, my case is one of those, of course, if the hand fence with a minimum quality expected by product.

One of these subgenres is the so-called "torture porn, a few years ago reached its highest eminence (in public) to the success of films like saw and hostel. Many are loyal fans, others hate it, my view is that, contrary to what seems, porn-torture is a difficult genre because you must mix everything you normally need a good horror movie add some (or many) you long morbid touches of blood and guts, quite graphic without spoiling the desired result with the presumed exhibitionism.

Grotesque If I had to pigeonhole into a genre, no doubt would be the above mentioned, but never as a good example of how to make a movie of its features, especially his argument flojísimo virtually nonexistent.

much importance is given to try to hit with gore, obscene and disgusting that they forget about more important aspects, such as having a minimum ID or interest in the victims or the perpetrator or a good argument. I can not

deny that one gets to shake, twist and discomfort with certain scenes but if we think a little, a movie can not keep his weight on one aspect would be like a table with one leg, that happens to Grotesque, the gore and other technical aspects are very convincing, but he neglects everything else, (read suspense, tension, surprise, I argue, innovation etc ...) The interventions

I can not complain, they are very credible at all times, the soundtrack also full of classical music is impeccable, the photography is nothing without the other world is well achieved, and the gore is mostly good quality ... and ... that's all this is the problem of Grotesque, in just a few lines I could describe how good it has to offer the tape, the rest is pure repetition.

worst thing is that this movie with a little more depth to their characters, plot and psychology, could have been much more memorable, and at times we see small glimpses, but never come to realize something really convincing, being in situations merely anecdotal.

Grotesque In conclusion is a film that camouflages its total lack of content and style with visors and gore sick, it is undeniable that it has several scenes quite disturbing, but it seems immoral that a film remains in place only signs of violence.

best:
"The gore and some other technical aspect.
"I can do ... and entertaining experience

Worst:
" That there is nothing under that package.
"Absolutely mindless.

Harley Davidson Boots True To Size

TOP 5: Best comedy films with Zombies.

As to the review of land zombie I realized the amount (and quality) of movies that weave the zombie genre with the comedy, at that moment it occurred to me to choose Mentally my 5 favorite and I realized how difficult it is to pick only five of many jewels out there, I did the best I could and here are my chosen in a logical order being the number 1 which I liked and then 2 and so on

Number 5: Re-animator.

Ok I was thinking a lot between including Re-animator or Fido, but in the end I lean over the work of Stuart Gordon ... Why? That few films have used a small budget like this, the gore and the story is incredible and is undoubtedly the greatest work of our beloved director.
A "but"? Maybe that second part excellent, the third being a shit on all Bodra immense.

Number 4: planet terror.
Without
is definitely one of the best genre films of recent years, there is nothing better than to see Rose McGowan with a machine gun instead of the leg and is now a cult film.
A "but"? What Fergie out? member of the ultra-commercial, tasteless and mindless band

Number 3: Shaun of the Dead.

This film marked a before and after. Any kind of a rebirth of the living dead, and not only makes us laugh, but also reflect on the individual lifestyle ... With a great sense of humor and very fine, many directors should learn from it to see a good comedy is not based on flatulence and sex.
A but? I can find no palpable error, but for some reason I did not "get" as much as the next two, that if they have their errorcillos.

Number 2: Dellamorte Dellamore.

Italian film far from perfect, arguably, is aesthetically the best available, bizarre, bloody, funny, beautiful and required viewing for all film buffs, certainly should be much better known, I had the opportunity to see a few months ago and I keep in my memory like few retina.
A "but? Its plot holes and some other unfunny joke.
(my review)

Number 1: Braindead.

A classic, and final encumbrance of gore movies, cute and funny characters, such excessive violence becomes cartoonish, and a memorable final 20 minutes, imitated and never equaled, for some reason I keep special affection, I have rarely laughed so much with a movie.

A "but? I so love this movie has my eyes are a little blind to errors, but we all know who has them.

Gowinsoftware Somebody Buy?

Review: zombieland.

By Francisco Acuña.

Year: 2009
Director: Ruben Fleischer
Cast: Abigail Breslin, Amber Heard, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg

The only way I can think of for a horror fan and not zombies there heard about this film is that he was asleep or off the planet for the past 6 months, much has spoken and heard in this film. What at first paresis no more than a gringo version of shaun of the dead turned out to be a major critical and box office success and a very good example of how combine undead, blood and comedy. Zombieland

about how a group of survivors of an epidemic of zombies manage to stay alive, no matter what, the group consists of a young loser who could be defined as the protagonist, who has managed to live through a strict rules that made since he succeeded the invasion (Jesse Eisenberg),
A hunter of the undead whose main obsession is to get a cake "? (Woody Harrelson), and a pretty girl who, despite their appearance is very rough (Emma Stone) and his sister (Abigail Breslin).

Zombies and laughter always seemed to me a great recipe, which I now come within examples of failed movies in this format and a lot of great films that were already in the history of film, if anything I can be sure of is that zombieland not a film that could be called "failed" because their claims are met with maggots Another thing is that for some us those claims already established and evident from the first minutes of the film are adequate.

The most notable success is undoubtedly zombieland pace and assembly, do not remember a single section in which bored me aya has excellent pace and never decays, also the duration of the film, relatively little help, since the formula does not wear during your footage and always keeps innovating in one form or another.

style and look of the film is fairly conventional, the other plane agrádese original one, or some extravagance is like slow motion away from tire and become repetitive after a while ((cough cough, 300) excuse me grab cough) is grabbed in a fairly cautious and thin, far from abuse.

The profile of the main characters is well drawn all are quite interesting and you really come to matter what will happen to them, the script is not very original, but compensates by being very clever.

The performances are outstanding especially Woody Harrelson who had have a good time with such an amazing, Jesse Eisenberg is not just doing the typical bland kind of films, and showed Abigail Breslin from "Little Miss Sunshine" is an excellent actress and Emma Stone ... well ... his acting skills are few can semi-forgive that is very good. xD

The gore although relatively small, are of good quality that is basically agrádese makeup and not those crappy digital effects as we see now is, the soundtrack is always good to accompany the action, end all the technical package is not accused of anything.

In conclusion zombieland is one more film that correct and highly recommendable, but I do not actually stand up to the perfection that many awarded him with a sense of humor, though conventional, very effective.

best:
"That during the whole film entertains a great time.
-Characters.

Worst:
-The Cameo ... I thought forzadísimo.
"That was the plot for more than pure entertainment, lacking a bit of courage to innovate.

for me: 7.8/10

Can You Work Out With A Herpes Outbreak

Review: Saw VI

By Francisco Acuña.

By Francisco Acuña.
YEAR: 2009
DIRECTOR: Kevin Greutert
PERFORMERS: Betsy Russell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor, James Van Patten, Shawnee Smith and Tobin Bell

Finally she closes the second cycle of this controversial saga, lately more hated than loved, and whose end result is greatly benefited from low expectations we had to find a decent product, we are all aware of the considerable wear suffered by this saga, whose lowest point was reached in the horrible saw 4, then up a little in his fifth and last, with the sixth Delivery recover almost completely over the hump of his 2 previous films.

need not mention the plot of the movie, because basically what the film is to link the many loose ends left over from their predecessors which includes new character is going to go wrong, in this case is a high official of an insurance company that saw the lives of other people as "numbers ".

not want anyone to think that Saw is a film perfectly round or with enough failures, which I will present first to the end of the review to "flatter" as it deserves.

Mariante and mounting despair, still present, I have long thought that this type of editing could videocliquera Irlo changing, as we all know and even when she is a registered trademark of the saga, I wonder ... Sincerely ", someone you like?

Costas Mandylor, the actor who plays Hoffman, continues to this poor performance seen in previous releases, many moments of him clutching the mysterious, sexy, interesting are sonrrojantes. Hoffman never be a worthy substitute for Jigsaw and it was a bad choice of casting, the other performances seem to me, at least good, obviously, Honoring Tobin Bell from Saw 3 did not have to do much and this takes longer in the screen that I had imagined.

The dynamism of the film is very good, has no interest in those dead spots without having the latest movies, here all we care, more even when social criticism becomes more sharp, especially Cando out his teeth to the life insurance companies so I understand that many tend to be quite "dirty and deceitful."

The gore is present and is sufficient for many traps is amazing, I love the re-emergence of those traps that have special meaning to the situation that had the victim, the music is basically the same as it has been throughout the series, and not I complain about that as the score for the film is excellent and do not think a "saw" could be "saw" without the music so characteristic.

Saw In conclusion it may be considered a good movie, but it retains most of the shortcomings of its predecessors, a dignified way to close the second trilogy, and that leaves high expectations for saw 7.

best: "The critical social
lost in the latest installment.
"The gore is best shown in the series, and bad ... no cheating!

Worst:
ultra-mounting sickening and boring.
"That the two films could be as good as this.
-Let the "spin" to the end, not so impressive.

My Female Dr. Does Not Check My Penis

RIP Grandpa slaughterhouse.

Well, this post has little to do with what I usually write in blog they really are basically reviews, but I can not help putting this off-topic. The issue is how 3 or 4 years ago when I started to have much interest in horror films and especially in those times the gore of the first pages I found was "The slaughter of the grandfather" any of you remember ? ... well, to no longer update my visits to this page were fewer applicants, and remember old times today to try to find it, and did not find it, I guess they closed, I was about 6 months of not visiting, then I guess it is old news, This post is August as a small tribute to that page and I met thanks to her jewels as braindead, tad taste and evil dead and rarities such as guinea pigs (which I now stand in bad taste but in that time I liked a lot) and aftermath.

And you, do you know the page? Do good and entertaining paresis or morbid and distasteful?

Grecian Style Hairdos

Wrong Turn 3: Left for dead.

By Francisco Acuña.

YEAR: 2009
DIRECTOR: Declan O 'Brien
PERFORMERS: Chucky Venice , Janet Montgomery, Mac McDonald and Tamer Hassan

The film, which then will outline is the third in a series, in which desconcuerdo with most opinions on it, and I'm sure many people will completely disagree with me.

For my first film in the trilogy is more than a slasher the pile with one another plus, but at the end of the day was business as usual, years later came the second part that I found much more fun and entertaining, with a dose of black humor and gore much larger than its predecessor, since I knew the story of this third installment wanted him to be more in the way of the second part of the first, already film I stand envisioned that I was right half, the film follows many of the steps of his immediate predecessor, but that fails to entertain as much as her and is at a point midway between the convention the first delivery and violence without claims of the latter.

It's all about remaining prisoners adrift in the woods along with two police officers, stalked by a deformed typical of those we have seen in previous installments, shoulder than once in this movie now, just there is a murderer Why, if the formula of many- mutants -chasing-people worked so well, they changed?.

In a product like this do not expect more than good gore and girls running for their lives and basically Wrong Turn 3 succeeds bad thing is that his lack of pretension leaves just saved, taking endless possibilities to explain the origin of mutants or venture out once and for all the black humor filled, it is timid in trying to innovate and bring fresh air into the plot.

The performances are what one would expect, really bad, and handling of suspense is effective and other times it does not matter how we are going to matter if we just feel empathy for one another character, and never get to really interest us at all?

The thing that stands out is the gore most deaths are quite good and make the product is completely bearable, personally I must admit that I am not bored at any time, of course, to made the deaths as "old school "are the most brilliant, which have much computer use, as usual, are mediocre and are false.

The aesthetic itself is the most conventional , nothing is really disturbing, as I said sincerely deaths are good but are not captured on any kind of mastery, leaving the weight to what happens and not as the screen reflected in the events.

In conclusion, the lack of claims Wrong Turn 3 ABC plays a trick on him leaving everything very simple and grasping to lose interest, on the other hand is a film that entertains with many deaths and gore passable , in my opinion is much worse than my favorite of the series, the second, leaving a little lower than the first,

best: "The
gore
-odd moment where it handles well suspense.

Worst:
- just a mutant ? Why?!
-The series is beginning to erode.

Mini reviews: Curses, Deaths and Aliens

By Francisco Acuña.
Dragme to hell: Return

disappointed Sam Raimi horror, where almost nothing works, the mixture of comedy does not feel natural and just a few touches and the occasional funny moment of tension and discomfort the saving of a total disaster does not impact the start, after a little better for the time decay completely until the final minutes where the product improves, most special effects are pathetic and the performances are good but not outstanding, an expendable commodity and forgettable.
for me: 5.5/10

The final destination:

entertaining, but nothing innovative film of a saga without higher aspirations to make the public spend some time with deaths of the most original, highly recommended to see it in 3D with great gore and some excellent three-dimensional effects, bad actions, bad script, and totally predictable, but after all, who expected a work of art? Do not fool anyone and does what it says is a couple of deaths scrotumtightening, special mention to the opening credits, one collected in many deaths in the series presented in an original way. The best of the series.
for me: 7.5/10

District 9

Wonderful science fiction all an instant classic, one of the best films of the year that manages to blend perfectly with popping entertainment cinema of social demand. The performance of the protagonist is an Oscar nomination for special effects, amazing, not like a film with a moderate budget alien design is great. Here there is good and bad, or clichés, this is a total twist to the genre.

Cruisin Spots Mobile Alabama

Review: Treat Trick'r

By Francisco Acuña

YEAR: 2008
DIRECTOR: Michael Dougherty
PERFORMERS: Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker, Leslie Bibb, Quinn Lord and Rochelle Aytes

After several years of waiting at last we can all have a chance to see this film as horror fans have waited, and it matters little delays after delays which had, of course, is a shame that you never will be released in theaters, but I feel after seeing all my needs fulfilled the vision that so far has undoubtedly been the horror film of the year.

Trick r 'Treat, as many know is an anthology film where we have a peculiar form several events in a night of Halloween, interestingly interspersed time and situations (with the pulp fiction), we have a director primary school with an evil pastime, a young woman dressed in caperucita haunted by someone, some children looking pumpkins and a cranky old man who is going to go very wrong.

The big problem prevalent in this type of production is usually the best stories overshadow the others, but in this movie everything is in perfect balance with a brutal assembly that does not leave dead doing that every time we get more curious to know what is going to be the next event, it is also necessary to highlight the brutal assembly, which can be translated from one story to another and return to it with incredible fluidity.

visual and aesthetic appearance is great, leaving scenes that will be reflected in the history of horror movies, a good example is the story they tell us what has happened grab many years, with a beautiful color filter and uncomfortable at the same time.

The script emphasizes more the way we tell stories and a few turns that what is spoken, although it has interesting parliaments, many others are pure filler. The music is very good but I think the final piece should not be so made if not more minimalist style "Halloween" by John Carpenter, special mention to highlight the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" with sweet dreams in the background.

is not very explicit gore film but has a management genius suspense and intrigue. I should also highlight a character especially Sam, who represents the spirit of the time, I'm sure will become an icon of the genre.

In conclusion, trick r treat is undoubtedly the best movies I've ever had the pleasure of seeing this year, but has a few shortcomings do not let me be a excellent movie, now turned into an instant classic and a reference to Halloween.

best:
"From now one of my favorite movies.
"His aesthetic.
-Sam.

Worst:
"To give anything less than a final take" more "powerful.

Nasal Congestion And My Period

Review: battle royale

By Francisco Acuña.

YEAR: 2000
Director: Kinji Fukasaku
PERFORMERS: Aki Maeda, Chiaki Kuriyama, Takeshi Kitano and Tatsuya Fujiwara

This film was pending the centuries and despite the rave reviews for one reason or another had not seen, but that has changed a few days ago I decided to see it, and now what everyone was impressed, but for the thousandth time, my expectations giant played against me.

"Battle Royale" has a base as simple as interesting and creative, due to a collapse in the economy and the disrespect and arrogance of many young people the government initiated a new program called BR. Consisting basically of each year a ninth-grade class was to be sent to an island and weapons would be given randomly to students, in the end, only one person would be free, but only when all other students are dead.

These eastern and strange ideas, not deny it, the proposal of this movie is great and very appealing, unpretentious apparently had one of the greatest ideas for a movie, think for a moment, what is best for a fan horror that a lot of young girls in schoolgirl outfit covered in blood killing each other? Mmm, not much, just missing Chuck Norris appeared Techno viking stick it against .

Pity he was not out enough profit to social background in it, and with much more reason to where it comes from, we know how the Japanese are the discipline, the economy and jobs, (if those who when they have a crisis financial pull of a building), the subject had incredible potential going for that angle. But they go for entertainment popping and carefree, and that I have not really complain as the film entertains from start so, that if no one can deny that the whole plot was for more.

The characters are very good, some secondary characters more than the same characters and is very interesting to see how they react in extreme situations, the whole movie is like a hybrid between a big chess game and a video game that has hurt so many cliches about all in the way of being of the characters (the rude, the good-natured, which will not stand and screws safari, the baddest bad, which is very good ... etc).

The actions I can not fully appreciate that the vi dubbed in English but all stand still highly credible, the gore is not as much as we can imagine a proposal of this nature, but if there is, and i do not think that more blood is made a better proposal. In conclusion

battle royale is a remarkable film with a regular budget to achieve a great product, round about entertainment, it moves away from the stereotype of Eastern film very slow and heavy, it hurts to be as deep as a puddle by the issue was for more.

best:
-premise.
-The death toll, excellent idea.

New Acquisition Overview: The Uninvited

By Francisco Acuña

Year: 2009
Director: Tom and Charlie Guard Guard
Cast: Arielle Kebbel, David Strathairn, Elizabeth Banks and Emily Browning.

generally show much disinterest in reviews Gringo Oriental movies because they always turn out to be more or less the same, there are some notable quality, but never departing or arriving at a different point in the original version, without much thought could give examples like "Dark Water" "the grunge "and" the ring "that although they are good movies, see her shortly after viewing the film that is based, is almost the same as seeing its predecessor east twice, and that I've never been a big supporter of the film eastern horror, that I no longer seem slow and tiresome, of course with very notable exceptions.

The Uninvited is the American remake of the Korean film "Janghwa, Hongryeon" aka "two sisters", that is, in this review will be reviewed as a totally independent film is based, since I have not had the pleasure of watching the Korean version.

The film tells the story of Anna (Emily Browning), a young woman after the death of his sick mother is hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital while the nurse (Elizabeth Banks) of her deceased mother and father (David Strathairn) start a romance, Anna leaving the hospital and meet her father and sister (Arielle Kebbel), start watching the ghost of his mother, pointing to the nurse and the "killer"

If an unforgivable mistake in a movie is to make the viewer lose interest in the product, the characters and the actions they commit, that just happens to The uninvited, comes a time when you do not care at all what is happening, all rescues to be insurmountable SPOILER argument is at its final turn, but we have seen in such films as "Haute tension" "The devils chair" and "My Bloody Valentine" is quite effective END SPOILER.

The actors perform as intended, resulting in the most credible cases, the two sisters (Emily Browning and Arielle Kebbel), although it has nothing to do with their histrionic skills still unproven, is a preciousness, each in its own way. The film also features a great cast, but at least it always kept a minimum quality in that aspect.

I remind you that this is a "PG-13" so do not expect to find dose of gore or shocking images, the trouble is not offset by psychological terror or some kind of suspense, what then ... we have left? A dramilla cheap, with an interesting twist, and a pair of loose scenes redeemable.

scares are pathetic, in the most naive viewers may try to jump on the chairs, the typical boo! Predominates throughout the film, every attempt to scare most useless than the last. The

environment, the locations and the music does not stand out from the rest of the movie, not even printed a touch disturbing and therefore need such productions.

In conclusion, The Uninvited is a dull film that will please all the lovers of the genre and the general public, but can be just fun for an afternoon with nothing better to do, seeing the end result is not surprising that is one of the horror films of the year that fewer cattle at the box office.

best:
"The bell of the ghost of the mother is a little disturbing, not exploited it hurts a little more.
- The lead actress (who also saw her in "a series of Unfortunate Events "is beautiful.
"The final twist, though very popular, effective.
worst: "Do not bring anything
gender.
"does not work either as drama or as suspenseful or as a horror film.
-have a good chance of getting bored.

How To Get Rid Of Dry Mouth

Review: Grace (2009)

By Francisco Acuña

YEAR: 2009.
DIRECTOR: Paul Solet.
PERFORMERS: Gabrielle Rose, Jordan Ladd, Malcolm Stewart and Serge Houde.

Every year we have several movies that are spoken and promises long before its release and with just a few people who saw it, ABEC expectations are fulfilled, others are in middle ground, sometimes unfortunately not. We can say that this is one of the movies I had more desire to see since I started to hear what "extreme" that was, try to convince myself not to get my hopes too, after all, just said to "Martyrs' and remaining term in the field of anyone leaving me rather indifferent.

The film tells the story of how Madeline 8 months pregnant lost her baby in a tragic accident, but she decides to continue the pregnancy, at the time of delivery, the baby miraculously comes alive, the trouble is that Grace has an appetite and a taste for blood.

I always thought that the more "virgin" watch a movie better do what I mean? A I believe that before seeing a movie makes me right, like a lot, watch the trailer, posters and see if you have an interesting cast and director, everything else in my opinion, it goes, this invasion of clips, and advertising that ABC can get to mystify a movie without even having released. That happened to me Grace, I saw a lot of material written much publicity, saying it was a movie and crudísima unbearable, and my expectations were so high that only the best outcome would please me, and Grace is a little far from excellent, but I can ensure that it is a most outstanding films of the year. Overall

I accept the uncomfortable feeling that makes all the movie, from beginning to end without leaving empty spots, sometimes it can get a little slow, but this serves to frustrate (good shape) to the viewer, is very interesting drawing and deterioration suffered some very interesting characters and their relationship with the way the movie sets, never taking anything for granted, and without explanation directly, so we get our own assumptions, also the plot unfolds in a fairly well structured, but without falling into cliches, very interesting and not let us know that can happen in the next minutes.

Jordan Ladd, Grace's mother grabs a very good performance, the film rests on her shoulders and she maintains an admirable way, too, Gabrielle Rose, Grace's grandmother, who despite his presumed madness only wants is good for her granddaughter and indulge their maternal instincts, even that is a selfish way, this movie is not good or bad, everyone has a prism of their views that ABC is blurred by their own frustrations, that little little can be converted into insanity under the extreme situation in which they live.

The script even that simple to blame for never lose that spark of originality, but if you can leave ABC go with the cheap sensationalism, music, or note, may have played more with that aspect but I have wasted so much at stake.

Finally, Grace is a highly recommended film to have a hard time in the best sense of the word, has put obstacles in its development, but nothing serious, she gave some characters less for more and I would have liked a little more footage, the story had more to tell, but it remains an excellent example of different films.

best:
-poor milk throughout their length.
-shots and camera angles, although they may seem minimalist and simple, are beautiful.

Worst:
"I had more to tell.
"Some may find it tedious.
"I expected something more."

for me: 7.8/10

Hanna Montana Pink Skirt?

Review: The Orphan

By Francisco Acuña

YEAR: 2009
DIRECTOR: Jaume Collet-Serra
PERFORMERS: Isabelle Fuhrman, Jimmy Bennett, Lorry Ayers and Vera Farmiga.

In my country some time ago Orphan release, the truth, I was not eager to see it, because it only looked like a pile of cliches and often seen, an evil child movie kind that much there.

The movie has a premise, presumably, pretty basic, a couple after the loss of a baby decides to adopt a girl of nine, q is not as innocent as it seems and everything is slowly turning into a nightmare for the family.

From Orphan to say that now is a movie more than correct with a very good suspense management, and somehow manages to excel in this wave of remakes and live mediocre products and horror movies in our time, is not a wonder, but emphasizes that, as we all know, the average of such productions is that they are basically evil, then any glimmer of originality and quality is overrated. What I explain is that if this production had been on the "golden years" the horror would have been just another piece of the heap, but with the drought we have now, a production like this can be lifted up more than they should.

Its director, Jaume Collet-Serra had already experimented with the genre of horror with the (entertaining, but nothing more) house of wax, now in this film greatly improves the management of stress, significantly lowering gore, not really I need but it would have been nice to see more hemoglobin, suppose that spared in this regard to make it more consumable for the average audience for the commercial, come on, that have something to eat.

The performances are very good, standing out above all Isabelle Fuhrman as Esther, holding that easily let us feel sorry for her kindness and hatred and disgust to his handler and decrepit character.

the script but is a little full of topics is bearable and at times witty, mainly with his turn in the plot, original, slightly stilted, witty and unthinkable, a success. T he characters soon come to us primarily interested in the tender deaf girl, star of the most emotional moments of the footage that yes, a little slyly exploiting his disability.

exteriors and music are good, not outstanding but if they give a disturbing atmosphere of the film, which for most of its duration I felt something was missing, as more effort and desire to do something lasting, it seems that the director and the writers did their job just received their cake and nothing else, maybe they were afraid or discouraged to go a step further, instead of doing something that it lacks a bit of soul, and has plenty of convention, without going too far can we make an example "The children" that moves through similar territories and also came out this year, where its very premise view was overshadowed by the excellence of almost all its aspects.

Finally, a movie I can recommend, that will not disappoint anyone who knows he will not find the movie of the year and a good example of how to handle the suspense.

best:
-Esther's paintings.
-The end credits of the best I've seen in a long time.
-management of stress.

Worst:
-A film that you forget the time.
"That from what I read, the more overvalued than they should.
"I lack" soul?

for me: 7.3/10

redrum test: James Wallenstein

Well here it is again the test of our blog, which has long since we did not, now is the turn of James Wallenstein blog fantastic dimension, excellent encyclopedia about all sorts of bizarre horror film fantastic, I recommend it completely!

Anyway here are the answers

Dear Fran answered here you have the test:

Hello to you all. I'm James Wallenstein, Dimension Fantastica. I hope you like my answers and has been a pleasure to pair my answer The Redrum test.

What was the film that are most marked your life? Probably

Crying Game, Neil Jordan. I have always been passionate about movies and I love many movies, but after watching it is understood the words of writer Terence Moix (great love of cinema) that they had talked movies that have magic. Crying Game made me feel that magic and cinema as never done before any film. I've seen the film over 200 times and I keep several copies of it in different formats and editions. It is a masterful film from every point of the beholder.

Why did you decide to start a blog?

Basically because being a lover of cinema, visiting countless blogs and websites around the world and all limping. What a site had, the other was missing. It was chaos and turmoil as I saw, including very famous sites that disappointed me in its contents (just not mentioned or analyzed many films), who after years of frustration over internet one day I decided to make the perfect place for amateur horror and fantasy. My blog is far from perfect or complete, but now that I have been for over two years.

accomplish your goal of making a blog where:
Dimension Fantastica
When the blog is written in Castilian number one in the United States on fantasy and horror movies. The growth rate of visitors and the blog is incredible and I received congratulations from all over the world both by his followers as professionals, so I'm in the right direction. One of my goals is to have over 10,000 daily visits real.

Your favorite movie:

- Serial killers: The Silence of the Lambs, Jonathan Demme
- Werewolves: The Company of Wolves by Neil Jordan
- Vampires: Interview with the Vampire, Neil Jordan but watch the television series True Blood, because it is great.
- Zombies: Zombie, George Romero
- Horror-comedy: Fright Night by Tom Holland
- Ghosts: The Shining, Stanley Kubrick Director

promise of the genre: I personally believe in

Nacho Cerdà, after making the Excellent Los Abandoned. I think he needs a good project, well funded and with a script level, so that the best of them and definitely convinced a fantasy film lovers in general and producers that is very worth to consider.

¿2 movies that everyone hates you and you love?

The Day of the Dead, George Romero. Everyone says that is a stupid sequel, disjointed script, but I feel great. Another film would be invaders of the abyss, Ruggero Deodato, which I love its exciting proposal, action-packed adventures.

2 movies that are little known gems that almost no value:

Serious magische und Anmerkungen auf Schwarzen Verbotene ritual, is a documentary film similar to Haxan (1922), which dates from 1929 and almost did not know any distribution , it was filmed in Poland a village near the city of Susz, by a German team and it shows the real sacrifice of a young gypsy desmembranado deformed live in a forest by four horses that pull members. Then decapitated and make a bizarre ritual burning their remains to do is not to salve with magical properties. Such a scene and not so powerful horrified producers and distributors who refused to brand something as controversial and cruel despite its undeniable anthropological value, as the team shot and lived for months with a group of real gypsies who practiced black magic. It is believed destroyed until all copies appeared in Italy (there are 3 more in the world if I'm wrong and all in private collections), which I enjoyed viewing on the year 97, thanks to my friend Nagar, a collector of hard to find songs with videos that you saved a great friendship. Another unknown gem would Entretiens d'un Inconnu Culte, Adolphe Sauveur Raynard, who worked and was a disciple of the great French director Jean Delannoy between the late 50's and over 60. It is a strange film shot in 1971 in a co-production Swiss-German-French and about a satanic cult, and apparently based on true events of a real satanic cult that was active in the 60's in Italy. Two crew members died in mysterious circumstances during it. The Cinema of Paris where he was going to the premiere of the film suffered a inundancion, delaying the premiere, and soon after the director and his wife were murdered in the house hayados they had, in bed by gunshot. The master of the film was stolen and apparently no distributor dared to release the few copies that had been made of it, supposedly threatened by the cult Italian. I had the opportunity to see one of those rare copies of the film, part of the private collection of a cinephile Catalan, some two years, invited by that gentleman. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a conference in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bafter introduce me to the wife of a friend of mine, working for a leading English audiovisual who prefer not to name.

Which character would win in a fight?

"Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees?: Jason because if it dies after passing centuries, be crumbled, pulverized and sent to hell ... How can Michael being killed?

"Pinhead or Freddy Krueger?: The Cenobites are capable of capturing and torturing a ghost? Given that Pinhead is immortal and lives in a dimension of pain, is able to bend like Freddy because ... Does the Cenobites sleep and have dreams, only territory where Freddy can strike?

gore "you most like?

The Fear in the City of the Dead, Lucio Fulci, when the girl started to vomit their guts inside the car. Brutal and disgusting!

If you put a murderer who invent a personality and how would it be?

Zapatero would be like physically. Zapatero and smile and talk like him. The truth is that the guy is scary and scares a while: you never know who really thinks or will do next. Is the most frightening, bewildering and unpredictable I have seen in my life. Tics has psycokiller, seriously.

Non-Horror Movie favorite:

As I appointed at the beginning of the interview Crying Game, give that distinction to another: The word, of Carl Theodor Dreyer, Danish film a wonderful 1955.
